So, I tried finger-latching some of the locs the other day...it turned out okay, I guess. I should really make or buy (probably make) a tool so I can make it look better.
(Sorry it's a little blurry)
Thanks to loc rocker, I found a great video about latching from fellow loc wearer, kalia-dewdrop. You can check out the video here.
Anybody else latch?

New product I'm trying
Happy Monday!
My scalp itches- a lot. It's not really anything new, I've had the itchies, and dandruff, since I was younger. However, I got tired of scratching all the time (and potentially chipping my nail polish), so when I was in Walmart last week, I looked for some oil and found this:
photo from: perfumela.com
Its ingredients include olive fruit oil, castor seed oil, jojoba seed oil, ginseng extract and more
In addition to your scalp, you can also use it as a body moisturizer and for hot oil treatements. I've only put it directly on my scalp twice. The itchies aren't completely gone, but it's getting better. I've also started using it for my dry skin, and it works fabulously! I love it!
And the price is great, too. Only $2 and some change at Walmart. If you try or have tried it, let me know what you think about it!

Manifestation board!
If you know me, you know I love making collages and vision/manifestation boards. Here's the one I made this week for the new year. Sorry it's kinda blurry:

Comparison shot
Here's how my locs look now versus when I first started them. They kinda look the same length to me, but anyway, here they are : )

Random loc thoughts- 12.9
I wonder why my hair never stays tight for more than 2 weeks...It's kind of annoying. I don't want to get them redone because it's too soon, but I don't like how loose they feel...
